What We Do
We publish research reports on listed Japanese companies. Our reports explain the company's business, competitive positioning, and financials, not the stock. Our goal is to give investors the tools to understand a company so they can focus on adding value in other steps of the investment process. We publish on the web and the Bloomberg Professional service.
Some of our reports are company-sponsored (we're paid to write the report), and to avoid the obvious conflict of interest we do not offer investment advice or comment on valuations. We clearly indicate the source of any opinions ("SR Inc. thinks that..." or "The company thinks...") and retain editorial control over the report content.
To promote the objectivity of information in our reports, users can make edits too. We think that collecting and representing as many views as possible is important, so both anonymous and registered users can edit reports. Quality content is our goal, and we developed a set of simple rules to serve as guidelines for what is acceptable (separating fact from opinion, for example).
