- Analyze and Explain. Any conclusion must be explained. No pure statements of opinion please. Analysis is welcome, value judgments are not.
- Cite Your Sources. Always provide a verifiable source when stating or discussing facts.
- Be relevant. Issues discussed must have material impact on the company (>20% earnings impact is a yardstick). Smaller events can be relevant if they could have serious long term implications.
- Behave and Be Nice. Respect other users and the law. For the list of what can constitute a breach of law see Legal Information. Otherwise simply follow the rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.
- No investment opinions. No investment opinion or advice is provided, intended, or solicited on this site. Please do not submit any comments regarding current and future share price performance, investment merits of securities etc.
- Not a Primary Source. This site is not intended to be a primary source of information. This explicitly means that any unpublished or previously undisclosed information should not be posted here.
- No Generalizations. Please avoid subjective qualifiers, non sequiturs, vague generalizations etc. Company level opinions and ratings-like assessments are not accepted.
- No Repetitions. Please do not repeat views already expressed by others in the same report.
- Tone Neutrality. Let the facts speak, not emotions.
- State Assumptions and Their Basis. Please always state your assumptions when proposing or discussing models and speculations. Provide a rational basis for your assumptions.
